In 2017, I stepped away from teaching at City Colleges and fully embraced my path as a working artist. A life fueled by passion, creativity, and relentless drive.

My studio isn’t just where I work, it’s where everything begins. Over time, we’d grown distant, but I was ready to make it mine again. I dove in, reorganizing tools, scrubbing every surface, and reviving the energy of the space. Surrounded by unfinished pieces, sitting in my favorite chair, it all started to click again.

I reconnected with what fuels me, what makes me create the energy and focus to bring my ideas to life. The studio became more than a space; it was where my vision and materials collided to create something authentic, something that spoke.

For me, creating is never static. It’s about movement, growth, and taking risks. I pushed myself further, taking on new jewelry classes and diving deep into techniques that challenged me. Every moment shaping metal, setting stones sparked fresh ideas and pushed me to think differently.

The studio reflects everything I am. It’s where I pour myself into designs that feel intentional and raw. Sculptures with bold, clean lines. Rings that stand out. Every piece is guided by the connection between my vision and the materials I shape.

This is my life: late nights in the studio, hands smudged with fire and metal, quiet moments where everything just flows. Jewelry and sculpture aren’t just things I create, they’re how I live, how I breathe, how I connect. They’re me.
