Artist Statement:
I sculpt the human form to explore identity, tension, and transformation. The abstracted figure, offers a powerful visual language to express both personal and universal themes.
Raised bi-culturally, my work reflects the push and pull between tradition and ambition. I navigate the expectations placed on Latina women and the realities of growing up in a contemporary urban American setting. Each piece is shaped by lived experience - by resilience, contradiction and the desire to carve space for authenticity.
Through bronze, silver, and storytelling, I create one-of-a-kind works that speak to strength, fluidity, and the beauty of becoming
I’ve been taking new classes lately and it feels like I’m back in college, in the best way. No pressure, just pure joy. I’m finally learning how to use tools I’ve owned for years but never really understood, and it’s opened up a whole new rhythm in the studio.

I am trying out new materials, figuring out new techniques, and getting my hands dirty in the best way. It’s led to new opportunities too. I’ve started doing more shows and exhibiting my sculpture in places I hadn’t before.
It’s exciting. It’s energizing. It’s exactly what I needed.
